Air conditioned coaches leave Pasay twice daily and from Caloocan every hour on the hour, Busses now also depart from Cubao and Sampaloc, check the Victory Liner website for departure information. Regular buses also ply the route but take considerably longer as they do not traverse the Northern Luzon Expressway.
By
Private Vehicle: From Manila take the North Expressway,
pass the Olongapo Exit, look for the signs for the NEW Tarlac - Subic expressway
(the opening of this has shortened travel time by about an hour, from the
old 4 to 5 hours, to 3 to 4 hours) and follow that directly into S.B.M.A.
(Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority). Once inside the Freeport be sure to follow
the Traffic rules, as rolling Stop signs, speeding Etc. will not be tollerated
and you will surely get a traffic ticket if you do. Shortly after the Toll
gate you will be stoped at a check point, this is to control the exit of Duty
Free goods Etc. After leaving the check point the First intersection you will
reach is the Rizal Highway Junction, turn Right here, next is a traffic light,
for Zambales go straight ahead. .[Or Left
will take you toward the Cubi Point International Airport, Bat
Kingdom, J.E.S.T (Jungle evasion survival training) and great Eco Jungle walk
areas. Shortly after passing the Power station you will see Magellan's
Landing and Vascos Restaurant, good food
at affordable prices and a really interesting Museum
of relics recovered from Spanish & Chinese Ship Wrecks. * Or Right, if
you want to detour for some duty free shopping, then right again at the Gas
Station, this will take you to the "Pure Gold" and "Royal Subic"
Duty Free Stores.] Not far after passing the Traffic lights you will
pass the Marina and Yacht Club, turn Left at the Next Traffic Light, take
the First Right, Canal St, and follow straight on to the Kalakalan
Gate to exit the Freeport Zone. Upon crossing the bridge, turn Left back
onto the National Highway which will take you through Castillejos, San Marcellino,
(here you have a choice, straight on, known as the Short Cut or left via San
Antonio) the roads meet again just before San Narciso. Followed by San Felipe
and Cabangan, Rama is located 9 kilometers after Cabangan which is still 8
kilometers before Botolan town. The Kilometer 189 Highway marker is directly
opposite our entrance.
