Between September & January every year Sea Turtles nest on the pristine beaches of Zambales.
Here at Rama International Beach Resort we operate a "Turtle Hatchery" in conjunction with E.P.A. the DENR and the Provincial Government of Zambales.

On March 29, 2004 , the Province of Zambales passed landmark legislation Resolution 2004-99, declaring the entire coast of Zambales as a critical habitat for endangered marine turtles. To complement this significant legislation, the Zambales Turtle Conservation Program is being formed, by virtue of a Tripartite Agreement between the Provincial Government of Zambales, Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and Environmental Protection of Asia Foundation Inc. (EPAFI). DECLARING THE COASTAL AREAS OF THE PROVINCE OF ZAMBALES AS CRITICAL HABITAT OF ENDANGERED MARINE TURTLES
