Rama Beach Resort

Rama Beach Resort

Great resort! Beautiful location of the resort with direct access to clean beach. Good food, spacey appartments as well as a caring and well-organised team. And everything for a budget prize! I am already looking forward to coming again.

Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. After two days in Manila, we jumped on the bus to botolan. Just 7 km south of the city we stayed 3 nights at Rama Int Beach Resort. And we had a fabulous time. We stayed in the family room (two rooms with a/c / fan), bathroom and a little kitchenette area. It was clean and simple. The garden was great with a little playground, swimmingpool and parrots. If you're travelling with kids, this is indeed a great place...

We watched a hundred turtles hatch from the sanctuary and then be released at the beach. This was quite good. The resort is large and has a nice pool, staff are good and the restaurant serves good food. The room is quite large with comfortable beds. The only disappointment was no Credit Card access, so you need to take enough cash to pay your bill. The nearest town with an international ATM is Iba, a 40 minute drive. You can walk for miles along the beach.

Very peaceful location; nothing around; friendly staff. We brought baby turtles into the sea (the hotel takes care for turtle eggs). Beach - black sand, mostly clean, very less stones. Swimming with NO shoes :-). Sunbeds available. Friendly staff. Free scooter if you stay more than 3 nights. Fair restaurant prices (pizza around 300 PHP), recommend is pancit bihon 145 PHP ...

The place is excellent if you want to do absolutely nothing. And that it what I was looking for. The budget room is simple but it has everything I need: large bed, shower with hot water, space for luggage and AC. AC is noisy but you don't really need it in the night time. Budget rooms are located next to the reception / guard and TV can be heard from the room quite clearly. That might be a problem if you are light sleeper.
